This simple system-neutral guidlene will help referees to adjudicte bartering deals, when characters adventure in the far reaches of civilization, where monetary exchanges hold no value, and only exchange of goods is possible. This simple system would also work when dealing with foreign cultures and that may value wildly different things when compared to the characters' place of origin.
